Thirty-five high achievers, based in Malaysia, were formally recognised in a ceremony conducted on Saturday 20th August 2022. Figures from both the business world and higher education who have demonstrated contributions to the growth of firms, skills and society were each granted “Honorary Fellowship” of the APME.
The recognition as Honorary Fellows was given by the Association of Professional Managers and Entrepreneurs, an activity of the International Alliance of Entrepreneurs (IAE). The Alliance, IAE, is unique in its global mission to support the development and growth of entrepreneurs, their businesses and their contributions to local communities and wider society.
Formed through a coming together of the founders (who between them have more than 100 years of experience), IAE is creating a global network of accomplished individuals all seeking to pass on their valuable knowledge and skills to existing and budding entrepreneurs. IAE has a particular focus on encouraging the growth of micro and small business owners and helping young people to develop an entrepreneurial mindset. It does this through providing online live and recorded webinars, interviews and workshops, other events including face to face conferences in London, UK and elsewhere, ‘white papers’ and other resources.
On the conferment of the Honorary Fellowships, IAE Chairman, J Malcolm Dean, said, “I wish to congratulate all of the Honorary Fellows on their election and admittance to APME. This is due recognition for their professional achievements and noteworthy contributions to the nation and society. We are delighted that they have joined with us in the global mission to promote the growth and development of entrepreneurs.”
